A free, responsive HTML5 site template by HTML5 UP with a portfolio-style grid and contact form, released under Creative Commons.
Forty is a free, responsive HTML5 site template from HTML5 UP, released under the Creative Commons, that provides a portfolio-style landing page and a separate inner page for extended content.
Forty is a static site template built with HTML5 and CSS3, designed by HTML5 UP and released under the Creative Commons license. It takes a set of plain HTML files and lets you edit their content to produce a live website with no server-side processing. The template includes an index page with a hero section, six linked images, text blocks, and a call-to-action button, as well as a generic landing page (landing.html) for additional information. It uses responsive design principles, so the layout adjusts to fit mobile, tablet, and desktop screens. The template is distributed as free source code that you can download and customize.
Forty is aimed at individuals and small teams who need a quick, professional-looking site without building from scratch. Freelance photographers can use the image grid to showcase recent work, and small business owners can deploy the contact form to collect leads. Web developers without design resources can fork the HTML and CSS to meet client requirements in a few hours.
