ArtGen is an open-source web platform that collects digital design tools into one interface, letting developers and designers generate color palettes, gradients, page dividers, CSS snippets, font pairings, and color themes. It runs on Next.js with the App Router, uses Tailwind CSS for styling, and integrates Supabase for backend services. The project is maintained by the ArtGen community, is hosted on Vercel at art-gen.vercel.app, and was last updated on 13 July 2023.
ArtGen currently offers six in-browser utilities and an open contributor workflow. The following features are listed on the project's README:
ArtGen is aimed at digital creatives, frontend developers, and open-source contributors. Designers can use the palette and gradient tools to quickly assemble mockups, while developers can pull CSS snippets and theme combinations into their projects. Contributors who know React, Next.js, or Tailwind CSS can add new utilities by following the repository's contributing guidelines and submitting pull requests.
ArtGen's tools cover common frontend design tasks.
