Theme Resume is an open-source Hugo template from HugoBlox for building a professional online resume. It takes plain Markdown files — covering bio, socials, experience, education, skills, and languages — and renders them into a clean single-page website that you can share via one link. The template is part of the HugoBlox ecosystem (MIT licensed, created by Lore Labs), and it is designed so you own your content as readable Markdown with no database or vendor lock-in.
npx hugoblox create site --template resume (requires Hugo Extended and Node.js).Deploy the template in 60 seconds through the HugoBlox website or via the CLI with npx hugoblox create site --template resume. Then customize by writing Markdown directly, editing visually with Ownable CMS in VS Code, or describing changes to Hugo Chat, which generates the correct front matter and blocks. The output is a static Hugo site that you can host for free on any static hosting platform.
Theme Resume has a free version and a paid tier called Resume Pro. The free version includes the core clean design, standard sections, and community support. Resume Pro adds premium designs, advanced timeline and layout options, enhanced skills visualization, removes attribution, and provides priority support. No dollar amounts are listed on the page; you can compare plans on the HugoBlox pricing page.
